Online Coaching

Online coaching is a great option for anyone who wants personalized workout programs, detailed feedback on their lifting form, and the ongoing support of a coach. You can start anytime for a minimum of 4 weeks, although 12 to 24 weeks is recommended. This option is well-suited to people who:

  • are at any level of experience, from advanced lifter to absolute beginner

  • struggle to stick to a new workout program, especially once the novelty has worn off

  • want to get beefy and strong but don’t know where to start and/or feel intimidated by weight training

  • already have a good workout routine but need help getting to the next step in their strength journey

  • want to begin training and potentially competing in powerlifting or Olympic weightlifting

Once you’re set up, you’ll get access to all your workouts via an app called TrueCoach. It will include demo videos and guidance on how to complete the exercises, and you’ll use the same app to upload videos of your own lifts for feedback each week. These feedback videos are one of the most valuable parts of online coaching– unlike personal training, where you only get feedback in the moment, you’ll get technique feedback on all your lifts that you can review at any time 😎

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

You’ll need either:

  • Access to a gym that is stocked with a range of free weights (dumbbells at a minimum, but preferably also barbells)

OR

  • At least one pair of adjustable dumbbells at home (bonus points if you have multiple dumbbells, a weight bench, and/or resistance bands

Feel free to reach out to me by email (stevie@rockyour.fitness) or on Instagram if you have questions about equipment!

How much does it cost

The current cost of individual online coaching is:

Month to month > $195 /mo

12 weeks > $560

24 weeks > $1080

This of course does not include the cost of your gym membership or equipment you’ll need to get, so keep that in mind when budgeting!

There are payment plan options for the 12 and 24 week coaching package, and a sliding scale available for low income individuals.

TESTIMONIALS

My goals when I started working with Stevie were to learn how to lift weights with good form and plan my own workouts so I could be independent going forward.

Stevie helped me achieve those as well as taught me a new sport, coached me through my first weightlifting comp, and helped me get strong af! I started training with Stevie about a year and a half ago because I had been going to the gym for years but without a plan or a good grasp of technique.

Watching Stevie's form feedback videos taught me what to look for and how to improve my own form without needing a coach to be right there with me. She even taught me how to perform olympic lifts, something I never would have guessed I'd learn when I was first looking for a coach.

She prepared me for my first ever Olympic weightlifting meet, including getting up ridiculously early to watch my livestream at like 6AM her time.

Working with Stevie, I was motivated to plan working out into my routine to the point where I looked forward to the gym and was super consistent week after week. I am so much stronger than when I started, and I look stronger too, which is so affirming as a non-binary person.

Stevie is such a fun, engaging, and experienced coach and she puts so much thought and work into helping you achieve your goals. I've been recommending her to everyone I know.

Stevie is nothing short of an angel that helped me not only get through the pandemic with my sanity intact, but avoid succumbing to more back pain in the process.

Physical therapists had made it clear I needed to supplement my sport (mountain biking) with strength training lest I re-aggravate my back issues. With only a small range of kettlebells, one pair of dumbbells, and some resistance bands to my name, Stevie was able to put together an at-home training plan to keep me on track during the wild, early days of the pandemic. And boy did I get stronger! The consistency and check ins kept my muscles growing and gave some structure to my weeks in the deepest pits of shelter in place, and we worked together to make sure it was exercises that would most benefit my primary sport.

Once things felt more face to face comfortable, she accommodated a hybrid program where I came in one day a week in person to relearn my barbell lifts. Now I've got the skills I need to do all the major barbell lifts. All told this got me through THREE YEARS of the pandemic with increased strength, greater ability on the bikes thanks to it, and minimized back stiffness.

THANK YOU STEVIE!

I’ve worked remotely with Stevie for nearly 3 years and her coaching has been the most consistent I’ve ever experienced, even being on the opposite coast with a 3 hour time difference!

I’ve had a lot of personal struggles during our time together and she’s always been a positive support and has adapted my programming whenever needed. Her coaching focuses on getting you STRONG in the healthiest way possible. She’s always been open to feedback on programming and will politely push back if she needs to in order to help you meet your goals.

As a woman weightlifter I appreciate that she’s a strong af femme who works with queer people and shuns toxic masculinity, which is so prevalent in weightlifting culture.
